Preference is given to programs or projects involving education that promotes self-sufficiency, economic impact, health and wellness, and the arts.
Who can apply: Eligible IRS tax-exempt organizations, schools, and governmental agencies operating in the Foundation's service area may apply. Projects should address current or emerging local needs, have direct local impact, and preferably generate additional resources or collaboration. Grants generally support one-year projects. Sectarian religious programs, completed or retroactive projects, operating budgets, wages, and basic educational or municipal functions are generally not funded.

Who can apply: Applicants must be youth groups or organizations in Lenawee County. Projects must demonstrate community value, build youth assets, show active youth participation and volunteerism, and be written by or in collaboration with youth. Preference is given to projects benefiting communities across Lenawee County and committing to raising matching dollars. Applications are reviewed by the Lenawee YOUTH Council, which recommends awards to the Foundation Board.
