About half of Kindora's paying customers are consultants and advisors rather than a single nonprofit. The same product serves all of them, and it can be set up three different ways.
Three ways consultants use Kindora
Your workspace, your clients inside it
A consultant plan gives you one workspace with a separate client workspace inside it for each organization you serve. You do the research and see every client. Each client sees only their own.
- Invite the client's staff into their workspace, as team members or as view-only guests.
- AI credits are pooled across your clients and drawn from your account. You direct them: an Intel Brief here, a prospect list there.
- Each client gets its own funder matches, pipeline, and programs. Nothing is shared between clients.
- When the engagement ends, transfer a copy of the workspace to the client's own account, with the funder research and documents if you choose to include them.
Best when the research is your service and you bill for it.
Sponsor seats for a network
If the organizations should own their own accounts and credits, buy seats for them instead. Each one redeems an access code and runs its own workspace.
- Self-serve checkout at kindora.co/sponsors. The code is issued as soon as you check out.
- You see who redeemed the code and how active they are, for the organizations that opt in. You never see inside their workspaces.
- Volume pricing: 10 or more organizations save 10%, 25 or more save 15%, 50 or more save 20%.
Best for a cohort, a coalition, or a funder's grantees.

Refer a client with your code
If a client should buy Kindora on their own, give them your referral code. They start with 250 bonus credits, and you earn 500 when they become a paying customer.
- Create the code in a minute from your dashboard.
- They see your name. You never see their data.
Best when you recommend tools but do not run them.
Consultant plans
Every consultant plan includes funder matching, Intel Briefs, application drafting, the grant pipeline, and donor prospecting for each client workspace. The difference is how many clients, seats, and credits.
| Plan | Price | Client workspaces | AI credits a month | Trial |
|---|
| Consultant Solo | $99 a month, or $990 a year | Up to 3 | 750, pooled | 14 days free |
| Consultant Team | $399 a month, or $3,990 a year | Up to 10, with 5 team seats | 4,000, pooled | 14 days free |
| Consultant Firm | $1,299 a month, or $12,990 a year | Up to 25, with 25 team seats | 20,000, pooled | None listed. Purchased by email. |
The free plan gives a consultant two client workspaces with real funder matches and no monthly AI credits. Credit packs start at $10 for 100 credits, so you can try an Intel Brief before choosing a plan.

What credits buy
Credits are the work Kindora's AI does. The prices below are the same on every plan.
- Intel Brief on one funder: 25 credits
- Research one individual donor prospect: 5 credits
- One Kindora AI chat message: 4 credits, or 6 while it is drafting a grant application
Questions consultants ask
- Can one client see another client's workspace?
- No. Each client workspace is its own organization in Kindora, with its own profile, matches, documents, and team. You are the only account that spans them.
- Do my clients spend my credits?
- Yes, if they use it. Credits are pooled at your account, and anything a client seat runs, including a Kindora AI chat, draws from that pool. There is no per-seat spending limit, so agree with each client on what they will run, or keep the research on your side.
- What happens when an engagement ends?
- You transfer a copy of the workspace to the client's own Kindora account. The profile goes with it, and the funder research and documents go if you include them in the transfer. Your original stays in your practice until you archive it.
- Should I buy a consultant plan or sponsor seats?
- Buy a consultant plan when you do the research and want it inside your practice. Sponsor seats when the organizations should run Kindora themselves and you want to see who is using it. Use a referral code when you simply want to recommend it.
- Can I start free?
- Yes. Sign up, choose the consultant setup, and add your first client organization. Matching runs against that client right away.
