Dancers must be paid. Non-professional community dance organizations, fiscally sponsored organizations, individuals, and organizations seeking project, capital, or endowment support are not eligible. The Foundation does not support dance education, schools, or studios outside New York City. Current financial statements are required; organizations with expenses above $1,000,000 must submit audited financial statements.

Proposals must address specific objectives, include a timeline, describe anticipated impact, and suggest how results could be replicated or have broader impact. Administrative costs, salaries, endowment requests, and general operating support are not eligible.
