GIRL SCOUTS HEART OF NEW JERSEY ("GSHNJ") PROVIDES NEARLY 12,000 GIRLS AN EXCEPTIONAL GIRL SCOUT EXPERIENCE THROUGHOUT ESSEX, HUDSON, HUNTERDON, SOMERSET, UNION, SOUTHERN WARREN, AND PARTS OF MIDDLESEX COUNTIES. GSHNJ BELIEVES IN THE POWER OF EVERY GIRL. WITH UNIQUE OPPORTUNITIES, OUR GIRL SCOUTS EXPLORE, LEARN, SUCCEED AND TAKE ACTION TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. GIRL SCOUTS ARE THE DREAMERS AND THE DOERS WHO "MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE."IN 2023, GSHNJ GIRL SCOUTS PERFORMED NEARLY 35,000 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN GSHNJ'S "HEARTS OF SERVICE" PROGRAM, BY EARNING A BRONZE, SILVER OR GOLD AWARD, AND BY PARTICIPATING IN GIRL-LED TROOP PROJECTS.
