Mission
Balanced is a nutrition security and public health advocacy organization working to improve the healthfulness of menus in schools, hospitals, and other community institutions. We provide nutrient-based interventions and practical, wraparound technical assistance to empower institutional leaders to serve more fiber-rich, health-promoting foods - while reducing those high in cholesterol, saturated fats, excess sodium, and ultraprocessing.
