Speh Family Foundation Annual Grant Program

Who can apply: Open to nonprofit organizations that fit the foundation's funding areas and initiative priorities. The foundation does not accept unsolicited grant proposals. Previous grantees are encouraged to contact the Executive Director before the LOI deadline to confirm fit. Approved requests must reapply each year; grants are not automatically renewed.

2026 Program Grants

From Foundations of East Chicago

Who can apply: Recognized 501(c)(3) agency in good standing with the IRS and registered in the state of Indiana; in good standing with Foundations of East Chicago; maximum of one submission per 501(c)(3). If the program takes place within East Chicago schools or clubs, a current MOU or letter of approval from the principal/superintendent or lead administrator is required.

Who can apply: Supports amateur athletes and coaches from Rush County; preference given to programs including underprivileged youth in Rush County.

Allianz Foundation for North America Grant Program

From Allianz Foundation for North America

Who can apply: 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the US and Canada; proposed work must create or significantly expand personal and professional growth experiences for high-school/GED-aged teenagers and young adults ages 16-25; projects must serve one or more of the Foundation’s selected cities; applications are evaluated on seven equally weighted criteria centered on empowering young people to shape a secure future for themselves, their communities, and/or the world.

Community Fund Grants (Annual)

Who can apply: Nonprofit organizations serving Bartholomew County residents; applications should align with the listed Areas of Impact. A letter of intent (LOI) is required one week prior to the application deadline.
