Who can apply: Open to nonprofit organizations that fit the foundation's funding areas and initiative priorities. The foundation does not accept unsolicited grant proposals. Previous grantees are encouraged to contact the Executive Director before the LOI deadline to confirm fit. Approved requests must reapply each year; grants are not automatically renewed.

Who can apply: New athletic program or initiative meeting CFY criteria; may be established within an existing youth program, partnered with a professional sports nonprofit, or work in conjunction with the Juvenile Welfare Board; one-time funding only; matching grants required.

Who can apply: 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the US and Canada; proposed work must create or significantly expand personal and professional growth experiences for high-school/GED-aged teenagers and young adults ages 16-25; projects must serve one or more of the Foundation’s selected cities; applications are evaluated on seven equally weighted criteria centered on empowering young people to shape a secure future for themselves, their communities, and/or the world.

Who can apply: Open to organizations whose requests do not fit Event Sponsorship or Short-term Project criteria, including requests over $5,000. Application requests organization objective, mission statement, formation year, 501(c)(3) status, W-9, budget, and financial information.

Florida Sports Industry Grant / Sports Development Funding

From Florida Sports Foundation

Who can apply: Applicants must be a Foundation-approved nonprofit Sports Industry Partner (Sports Commission or Convention & Visitors Bureau) in good standing; membership fees current; active participation with the Foundation; and event rights holders may not apply directly. Minor events must demonstrate at least $500,000 in out-of-state economic impact, ROI of at least $100:$1, and at least 600 out-of-state hotel room nights.
