Priority is given to projects that improve coordination, test new approaches, promote volunteer participation, build on community strengths, and create lasting impact. The fund does not support annual campaigns, special event fundraisers or sponsorships, tickets for benefits, courtesy advertising, pre-decision activities, capital requests except certain equipment, individuals, repeat funding for the same project within one year, after-prom parties, or scholarships/tuition assistance to private educational institutions.
