From Arizona Elks Major Projects
Who can apply: Youth groups such as Boy and Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Brownies, 4-H, JROTC, CASA, church groups, and other not-for-profit youth service organizations may use the camp at no charge. Proof of liability insurance is required.
From Arizona Elks Major Projects
Who can apply: Open to bona fide nonprofit youth groups in Arizona. Each group must present proof of liability insurance (minimum $1,000,000) including sexual abuse/molestation coverage and name Arizona Elks Major Projects, Inc. as additional insured. Refundable $750 security/cleaning deposit and $50 administration fee required at booking.
From Lester and Roberta Smith Foundation
Who can apply: Applicant must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity in Tucson or Southern Arizona. The organization/project must not duplicate or significantly overlap with public agencies. The organization must serve the community without discrimination and maintain books available for audit. The foundation does not fund organizations for two consecutive years; past grantees must wait one full year before reapplying. Funds cannot be used for traditional operating expenses or deficits, brick-and-mortar projects, or multi-year commitments.
Who can apply: Any not-for-profit organization that provides charitable social services to individuals and families in financial need may submit a grant request.
