Who can apply: Must be a nonprofit organization with valid 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status classified as a public charity (not a private foundation under Sections 509(a)(1) or (2)). Previous grantees must have submitted grant reports before a new proposal will be considered. The Foundation does not make grants for operating support, endowment, special events, sponsorships, annual fundraising campaigns, or through fiscal sponsors or agents.
From Thomas C Ackerman Foundation
Who can apply: Applicant must be a charitable organization under IRC 501(c)(3) and California Revenue Taxation Code Section 23701d. The organization must support or operate a formal classroom K through 12th grade program whose primary purpose, curriculum, or object emphasizes mathematics/sciences and/or art, performing arts, and music. The organization must have been established and operated within San Diego County for more than one year and must not have been funded by the Thomas C. Ackerman Foundation within the last 24 months.

Who can apply: Nonprofits working in metro Atlanta focused on K-12 education (literacy, out-of-school time programs, college/career readiness). Foundation does not fund special events, booster organizations, churches/religious entities, independent schools, individuals, or organizations focused exclusively on environment/healthcare/arts. University funding and certain legacy projects are by invitation only.
From Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative Foundation
Who can apply: Schools and 501(c)(3) educational entities serving students within the SSVEC service area. Projects must be transformative educational initiatives with lasting impact. Up to two applications per organization in 2026, for separate projects.
