Funded programs must relate to AAUW's mission of advancing equity for women and girls, and more than half of the program's clients must be women or girls. Grants support specific programs, not general organizational funding. Recipients must publicly acknowledge AAUW State College support and submit a program update six months after receiving funds and when applying again.

Proposals should be led by, or strongly informed through trusted relationships with, communities historically affected by oral health inequities.
