Transformation of Mental Health Care Program
Who can apply: Academic researchers at universities, research institutions, health systems, or other settings positioned to provide rigorous research may apply. Investigators must reside within institutions based in the United States, and all project research must be completed in the United States. Applicants may be at any career stage but must have sufficient pilot data and be established enough to lead the project; early-career investigators are strongly encouraged to collaborate with senior researchers. Co-applicants or principal investigators must be at the same institution. Proposals must include rigorous research, pilot data, implementation or service outcomes, and potential for future scale. Applicants may not apply for both a KTGF Fellowship grant and a Transformation of Mental Health Care grant in the same year.
Deadline: Annual deadline: November 20 at 11:59 p.m. EST. The application portal opens August 15 annually. Awards are expected in April, with funding beginning July 1 after IRB approval and required contracts.
