Who can apply: Qualifying congregations or agencies of the Great Lakes Conference may apply. Applicants must be willing to provide matching funds. Educational institutions and denominational affiliates may request that the Executive Board or a member congregation file an application as an extension of its ministry, with a clear connection between the eligible member and affiliated entity.
Who can apply: Grant recipients may be individuals or nonprofit organizations, including those that are not Everence members. Applications must be submitted by a representative of an Everence member congregation with an active Everence stewardship advocate, on behalf of the intended recipient. Grants support basic living or emergency expenses and may support U.S. service projects, but not ongoing support of mission workers. Requests should generally be submitted within 90 days of the church providing assistance.
Who can apply: Applicants must be United Methodist churches in Wisconsin. The church must submit and receive approval of a stewardship plan, complete the selected activities within 12 months, and submit a final report. A church may apply once a year in up to three different years, with a limit of four grants from 2019 through 2026.
