From Pickaway County Community Foundation
Who can apply: Applicants must be nonprofit organizations with IRS 501(c)(3) status or otherwise eligible as described in the guidelines; programs must primarily benefit Pickaway County residents. Faith-based organizations may apply for program funding if there are no religious instruction/activities requirements. School system requests must be initiated by the superintendent’s office and submitted first to school foundations. Large organizations with multiple branches/departments must apply through the president/director/development office. Previous grantees must be in good standing and current on reporting.
Who can apply: Organizations must be located in or provide services to residents of Portage County; grant seekers outside Portage County must provide information on services provided and individuals served in Portage County. Grants are made only to IRS 501(c)(3) charities. Prior reporting requirements must be fulfilled before applying. The foundation gives slight priority to smaller nonprofits and those not awarded in both of the past two consecutive years.
From Portage Legacy Inc F/K/A Portage Health
Who can apply: Open to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations located in or providing services to residents of Portage County. Applicants outside Portage County must document services and individuals served in Portage County. Reporting requirements from prior grants must be fulfilled. Grants are not made to individuals, for-profit businesses, debt reduction, loans, special event tickets/sponsorships, annual appeals, political campaigns, religious activities, or school curriculum.
