The program will not consider applications from individuals, political activities, fundraising projects, capital campaigns, or religious organizations applying solely to further religion. National organizations are eligible only when funds benefit DeKalb County residents. Organizations with an open Voices of Philanthropy file or unfiled final report are ineligible. Repeat funding for the same program or project, matching funds, and operational support are excluded or low priority.

Applicants must submit a board of directors list, evidence of board support, a completed request financial form, financial documents for the prior two full years, the current annual budget and year-to-date expenditures, and an audit report if one has been conducted. Two bids or quotes are required for requests of $10,000 or more when applicable.
Who can apply: Open to organizations bringing music programs to Rush County and to RCS elementary and BRMS teachers. Grants are not made to high school programs or high school students.
