Chicago CoC Annual NOFO Process (CoC Programs Funding)
Who can apply: Agencies applying for HUD CoC funding through the Chicago CoC. Previously funded CoC projects are eligible for renewal; new project applicants may apply when the annual NOFO opens. Project types referenced include Permanent Housing (PH), Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), Rapid Rehousing (RRH), Transitional Housing (TH), Joint TH-RRH, Safe Haven (SH), and Supportive Service Only (SSO).
Deadline: FY 2026 timeline visible on the site: New Project Request for Proposal opens estimated June 24, 2026 and closes estimated July 24, 2026; Renewal Transition Grant Process opens estimated July 20, 2026 and closes estimated July 31, 2026; CoC notification to project applicants August 10, 2026; Consolidated Application due August 26, 2026.
