Urban Peace Movement (UPM) launched in 2009 with a mission to build youth leadership in Oakland and Alameda Counties to transform the social conditions that drive violence and mass incarceration, issues that disproportionately impact BIPOC communities. We envision a world where youth of color are resilient and self-determined.
