Mission
San Diego Squared is dedicated to advancing workforce development and talent development in STEM through four key areas of engagement. Firstly, our Community Activation initiative focuses on fostering a vibrant community that champions the belief that workforce diversity is integral to STEM. This is achieved through compelling storytelling, accessible on our website sd.org, and dynamic events such as our affinity dinners, ERG leaders' gatherings, and SD2 All Hands events. Secondly, our Squared Fellows Program offers a year-long mentorship-based experience for approximately 60 high school students from low-income and underrepresented backgrounds. This program connects them with STEM-driven companies, facilitates career exploration, and helps them envision their future roles in STEM. Thirdly, our Squared Scholars Program provides multi-year college scholarships to students from underrepresented backgrounds pursuing STEM degrees. This comprehensive program includes personalized 1:1 mentor
