Mission

Davis Citizens Coalition Against Violence (dba Safe Harbor Crisis Center) was established in 1994 as a not-for-profit organization. Begun by concerned citizens who wanted to address the violence they saw in their community, they established the first, and still the only, domestic violence shelter and service provider in Davis County. Since opening doors to the shelter in 1997, services have continued to grow and expand to meet the needs of those impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking, as well as our community. Our free, trauma-informed services now include: 24/7 emergency protective shelter, hope housing, outreach services, childrens services, sexual assault services, protective order services, therapy, lethality assessment law enforcement partnerships, 24/7 crisis response, support and psychoeducational groups, and community outreach and engagement. All services are inclusive and available in English and Spanish. Recently, we doubled the capacity
