Zera Foundation Annual Grant Program

Who can apply: Applicant organizations must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and public charities under Section 509(a). The primary geographic focus is Oregon, especially the Portland Metro area, although the Board may approve grants elsewhere at its discretion. The Foundation is interested in organizations with annual budgets under $5 million, particularly those providing direct services, leveraging volunteers, and developing new programs. Organizations may receive only one grant per year.

Deadline: Spring applications are due May 15; fall applications are due November 15. Applicants receive notice by June 30 or December 30, respectively.
