Community Event / Project Sponsorship (United Regional Foundation)
Who can apply: Applicants must be eligible nonprofit organizations or tax-exempt public agencies. Events or projects must operate within and directly benefit United Regional's service area, align with priority focus areas and organizational strategies, support the Community Health Needs Assessment, promote economic or community development, and improve community health and quality of life. Faith-based organizations may apply if services are provided to everyone regardless of religious affiliation or participation. United Regional does not fund political activities, requests benefiting individuals such as scholarships, events or programs that do not improve community health, events of questionable taste or those that may harm its reputation, or general operating expenses such as salaries, software, supplies, rent, or utilities.
Deadline: Applications are accepted year-round. Community event requests should be submitted at least 90 days before the event. Large-scale event requests should be submitted by October for consideration in the following year's budget.
