General Grantmaking Program (Arts, Environment, Arts+Environment Collaborations)
Who can apply: Applications are made to American nonprofit 501(c)(3) or tribal 7871 organizations. Initial inquiries may be made by an individual or institution in any eligible country, but full proposals must be submitted by an eligible U.S. nonprofit or tribal organization, or through a fiscal sponsor if the applicant lacks 501(c)(3) or 7871 status. TMU supports collaborations between adult professionals only and does not support projects where primary participants or beneficiaries are youth or students. Countries outside the listed eligible countries are ineligible.
Deadline: Bi-annual inquiry deadlines: May 1 for August 1 full proposal; November 1 for February 1 full proposal. Deadlines move to 5pm EST on the next business day if they fall on a weekend or U.S. holiday.
