Who can apply: 501(c)(3) organizations headquartered in the City of Chicago or Benzie County, MI, working in one or more focus areas. Organizations with annual operating expenses over $2.5 million are generally ineligible, though very rare exceptions may be considered for project/program support after contacting the foundation.
Deadline: Chicago: Fall 2026 LOI due May 22, 2026; proposal due July 31, 2026. Spring 2027 LOI due November 6, 2026; proposal due February 5, 2027. Benzie County: Summer 2027 LOI due February 5, 2027; proposal due May 7, 2027.
