Who can apply: Organizations must be located in and serve Winnebago, Boone, Ogle, and/or Stephenson counties in Northern Illinois, with emphasis on charitable organizations in Winnebago County. Organizations must have been operating for more than three years and generally may not have operating deficits. Applicants should be charitable organizations eligible to provide the requested tax and financial documentation, including an IRS 501(c)(3) exemption letter.
Deadline: April 15, August 15, and November 15 annually; applications are due by 5 p.m. Awards are made in May, September, and December.
