Who can apply: Applicants must be qualified charitable organizations operating programs in New York City, Southwestern Connecticut, Westchester, or Charlottesville, VA, focused on teen parenting and/or mental health. Organizations must be publicly supported charities under Section 501(c)(3), not private foundations under Section 509(a). Grants may not be used for capital campaigns, annual campaigns, endowments, loans, conferences, travel, or individual support. Required materials include IRS tax-exempt documentation, an audit, Form 990 and schedules, budgets, trustee/director lists, and conflict-of-interest certifications.
Deadline: June 30 annually; final decisions are made in the fall and checks are mailed by December 1.
