The Dabah Family Foundation shows a highly concentrated giving pattern: a single, large grant of $386,229 is reported and the recipient/purpose is not disclosed in the summary provided (“SEE ATTACHED SCHEDULE”). With only one documented award, there is insufficient public evidence to define specific issue-area preferences; the gift appears to be a one-off major commitment, likely to a single organization or project specified on the attached schedule.
Concentrated — a single large, one-time grant with limited transparency about purpose or beneficiary; no pattern of repeat or diversified grants in the available data.
A single $386,229 charitable-purpose grant anchors The Dabah Family Foundation Inc’s public record, with the recipient listed only as “See Attached Schedule.” That award, reported in 2024, is the largest documented gift in the foundation’s recent filing and signals a pattern of sizable, closely held support rather than broad, publicly detailed programmaking. The 2025 grants file then shows a dense cluster of general-purpose gifts, many to New York organizations connected to Jewish education and congregational life. Among the named recipients are Cong Zichron Binyamin, Yde Yeshivah, and Congregation Shaare Zion, each appearing in the grant list with support labeled for general use. The foundation’s record also includes repeated gifts to several of the same organizations, suggesting ongoing relationships with a defined group of local nonprofits. Across the available record, the giving remains concentrated in New York and all documented recipients are in the United States. For a nonprofit researcher, the clearest picture is of a family foundation making localized, institution-oriented grants, with one large undisclosed commitment and a series of smaller general-purpose awards to community-based organizations.
The foundation’s named grants point most clearly to Jewish communal and educational institutions. In education, it gave $15,000 to Yde Yeshivah for general purposes, and that same organization appears again in 2025 with additional gifts of $10,000 and $7,000. Congregational and synagogue support is also visible: Congregation Shaare Zion received $13,000 for general purpose, while Shaare Zion received $10,000. A related cluster of gifts went to Tiferet Rabbi Akiva Inc, which appears twice at $10,000 and $7,000. Other general-purpose support reached Yad Yosef Torah Center, Hechal Shmuel, and Porat Yoseph, indicating a consistent focus on institutions serving religious and community life in New York.
The only grant-size statistic in the file is a flat p25, median, and p75 of $386,229, reflecting a single reported major award. Beyond that large 2024 gift, the 2025 record shows many smaller general-purpose grants, including repeated awards to the same organizations, which points to ongoing relationships rather than one-off gifts alone. The foundation is a family foundation by name, and its public record shows no individual giving or program-related investments. The available filing also suggests a local, direct-grant pattern: every documented recipient is in New York, and all grants in the recipient-country distribution are in the US.
