Who can apply: Applicants must be organizations with United States 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status or an international equivalent. The program is open to organizations worldwide; in-person, virtual, and hybrid convenings are eligible. Grants are not made to individuals. The foundation does not accept applications from organizations that received a Terra grant in the previous year within the last two grant cycles.
Deadline: For programs taking place after May 1, 2027: inquiry due September 28, 2026; proposal due November 30, 2026. A second cycle for programs after November 1, 2027 has inquiry due February 16, 2027 and proposal due April 20, 2027.
