Who can apply: Projects must be located within the boundaries of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area and involve an eligible recreation-related facility or service. Projects are generally favored when they provide public benefit, serve large numbers of recreationists, have multiple or potential funding sources, are likely to be completed within 12 months, maintain or repair existing facilities, clearly distinguish project labor from organizational overhead, and recognize Sawtooth Society support. General administrative and overhead costs are generally not recommended.
Deadline: Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on March 31, June 30, September 30, or December 31 for review in that quarter.
