From Idaho Community Foundation
Who can apply: 501(c)(3) public charities or government entities including public schools; organizations serving Idaho communities; applicants select one primary impact area.
Who can apply: If a project has not been previously funded by Colcom Foundation, submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). LOIs are accepted on a rolling basis. If approved, the applicant is invited to submit a full Grant Application.
Who can apply: Qualified tax-exempt domestic organizations only. The foundation often funds smaller, grassroots groups focused on policy reform. It generally does not fund projects in Washington, Oregon, or California, and does not make grants to individuals. Foreign charities are not funded unless previously funded by the foundation and using a U.S. tax-exempt fiscal agent.
From Tree Research and Education Endowment Fund
Who can apply: Applicants must propose original research that improves safety for tree care workers and the public.
Who can apply: Organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits. Applicants may apply once per year; organizations receiving a grant must wait until the same cycle the following year. Required submission of a Required Information Sheet (RIS) including executive summary (up to 2 pages), 501(c)(3) determination, board and budget information, and optional supporting materials. Prior-year grantees must submit a Final Evaluation Form.
Who can apply: Competitive proposals should show groundbreaking content, broad distribution potential, and social impact; documentary support is very limited.
