Better Our Community Grants
Who can apply: Applicants must be nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations in good standing and provide a W-9 or IRS letter proving nonprofit status. Programs must directly impact the Western New York community. Organizations must not have received funding from Rich’s in the past 12 months, must use funds within the designated organization, and must request funding 60–90 days before the event or need. Golf tournaments, youth sports, and certain community or service organizations are ineligible. Organizations may apply to either Better Our Communities or Rich Family Foundation only once per 12-month period.
Deadline: Requests must be submitted 60–90 days before the date funds are needed. Applications are reviewed quarterly according to the program description; the FAQ says requests are reviewed monthly.
