FRIENDS OF ANIMALS INC, HUMANE SOCIETY OF THE UNITED STATES, PANTHERA CORPORATION
Regina Bauer Frankenberg Foundation Xxxxx3008’s recent giving is anchored by animal protection and wildlife conservation, with repeat support to national organizations working on companion animal welfare, policy advocacy, and species conservation. The largest grant in the recent list was $120,000 to Panthera Corporation in New York for general support, alongside six-figure gifts to Humane Society of the United States in Washington, DC, and Friends of Animals Inc in Darien, CT. That combination points to a funder that backs established organizations rather than one-off projects. The foundation’s recent grants also show consistent support for groups involved in animal welfare infrastructure and conservation fieldwork, including Bideawee, Dogs Trust USA, Natureserve, Wildlife Conservation Society, and Oikonos-ecosystem Knowledge. Several awards are labeled general or general operating support, which suggests flexible funding for organizational capacity. Its national scope is reflected in grants spread across animal advocacy, sheltering, and wildlife protection organizations rather than a single local initiative. The pattern is steady, with multiple recipients appearing in more than one year and several organizations receiving repeated annual support.

It awarded $100,000 in 2023 and $100,000 in 2024 to Friends of Animals Inc in Darien, CT, and also supported Bideawee in New York with $75,000 in 2023, $75,000 in 2024, and $50,000 in 2025. It also funded conservation-oriented organizations such as World Wildlife Fund Inc and Blackfoot Challenge.
Typical grant size sits at $37,500 at the 25th percentile, $50,000 at the median, and $70,000 at the 75th percentile, with several awards above that range.
