CTF General Grant Program
Who can apply: CTF focuses primarily on Virginia-based transfusion medicine and healthcare initiatives. Most grantees are 501(c)(3) organizations, but other entities may be considered when their work directly benefits transfusion medicine or laboratory science in Virginia. Projects must align with CTF priorities. CTF does not consider unrestricted grants, general fundraising, building or renovation projects, political campaigns or lobbying, organization startup or seed funding, religious doctrine, projects unwilling to openly share results, or program-related or mission-related investments. Indirect costs may be funded up to 15% of the total award.
Deadline: LOIs accepted year-round. Invited full applications are due December 31 or July 31 annually; LOIs should be submitted at least 30 days before the applicable full-application deadline.
