Program/Project Support Grants
Who can apply: Applicants must be nonprofit organizations serving residents of or located in the Adirondack Park. For-profit businesses are not eligible. A 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor may apply for an eligible nonprofit lacking 501(c)(3) status, but the ultimate recipient must be a legitimate charity. Projects should have impact within the next six months. Requests above $50,000 require initial contact with Cloudsplitter before submission and additional review. Applicants generally need multiple and diverse funding sources, and organizations may receive awarded support for no more than three consecutive years before taking a year off from the regular grant rounds.
Deadline: January 1, May 1, and September 1 at 5:00 p.m. annually. Late requests are considered in a subsequent round.
