Who can apply: Applicants must generally be federally tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations, schools, libraries, or public agencies; have at least two years of direct service; align with Hunger, Children, or Environment; and be located within 20 miles of a C&S operating location. Measurable impact is preferred. Organizations may apply every other year. Galas, golf outings, political campaigns, capital or endowment campaigns, scholarships, individual requests, travel, multi-year funding, discriminatory organizations, and most United Way member agencies are not funded.
Deadline: Applications accepted on the first of each month; decisions on or around the 14th. Organizations may apply every other year.
