Building Brighter Days Foundation — General Grant Program
Who can apply: Applicants must be qualified nonprofit organizations exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and must not be private foundations. The Foundation does not fund individual projects, endowments, private-school or religious projects, organizations without 501(c)(3) exemption, or scholarships. A Letter of Interest is required before submitting a full grant application in specified circumstances, including first-time applicants, applicants returning after more than three years, major organizational changes, or substantially different projects or funding requests.
Deadline: Applications are accepted year-round. Final review cycles cover applications received December 15-April 30, reviewed by May 15; May 1-August 31, reviewed by September 15; and September 1-December 1, reviewed by December 15.
