Who can apply: Applicants must be qualified federal tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations as defined by the IRS. Grants are generally restricted to community-based organizations serving Rhode Island residents. The foundation generally does not support capital campaigns, building restorations, or operating expenses. Organizations are asked to submit only one application for funding per year.
Deadline: Quarterly cutoff dates: March 1, June 1, September 1, and December 1; decisions communicated the following month.
