Who can apply: All AVMA veterinarian members are eligible; pet owners are not eligible to apply. Applicant must be an AVMA member on staff at the practice applying for the grant. Grants are reimbursable only for veterinary charitable care already provided within the last two months. Eligible conditions require immediate care and owner financial hardship. Excludes elective surgery and routine preventative care.
