ACAF Community Grants

Who can apply: Applicants must be tax-exempt nonprofit organizations proposing programs or projects that meaningfully benefit Allegany County residents. Applicants must demonstrate organizational capacity, community need, and potential for sustainable impact. Religious organizations are eligible only for projects providing a clear public benefit beyond religious activity. Partisan or political projects are not funded. Projects must be proposed or ongoing; completed projects are ineligible.

Deadline: Next stated deadline: October 16; applications should be received at least five days before the applicable Grant Committee meeting. Grant Committee meetings occur every two months, September through June.
