Capital Construction Grants
Who can apply: Applicants must be legally incorporated nonprofit organizations; individuals are not eligible. Applicants and organizations must not have received a grant for the same project in the previous 12 months. Projects must involve tourism-related capital construction, including purchase, equipping, maintenance, construction, repair, or acquisition of buildings or property consistent with a visitor attraction. Debt refinancing, previously incurred expenses, and general operating expenses are ineligible. Requested funds may not exceed 25% of total project cost, and projects must demonstrate potential to attract or retain visitors and generate lodging-tax-related economic benefits.
Deadline: Quarterly application windows in 2026: January 1-March 31 for Q2 consideration; July 1-31 for Q3; September 1-30 for Q4; and December 1-31 for Q1 2027 consideration.
