Nonprofit Energy Efficiency Program (NEEP)
Who can apply: Must be a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit in good standing; provide in-person direct services to income-qualified Coloradans, with direct service delivery as the primary and most frequent building use; own or lease the building; pay the energy bill for the occupied portion; and be an Xcel Energy, Atmos Energy, or Black Hills Energy gas customer. Religious-service-focused and animal-welfare organizations are ineligible. Leased properties generally require at least three years remaining on the lease, a renewal option, and a letter of owner support. Previous participants require an eligibility review for additional funding.
Deadline: Applications submitted April 2026 - December 2026 are reviewed in January 2027. Applications submitted January 2027 - June 2027 are reviewed in July 2027.
