Funds may not support entertainment, alcohol, lobbying, projects outside the service area, reimbursement solely for patient care/clinical delivery, supplanting other funds, or indirect costs/routine operating expenses unless an acceptable sustainability plan is included.

Organizations must be located in and provide services in the Town of Norway. Proposals should address basic community needs, demonstrate significant and sustainable impact, have measurable objectives, include financial commitments from other funders, and describe long-term sustainability. The fund does not support lobbying or political action groups, labor unions, individuals, multi-year projects, annual fund drives, fundraising events, endowment campaigns, building funds, short-term deficits, fraternal organizations, or requests solely for travel or lodging.

Charities located outside Palm Beach County, individuals, private foundations, religious or politically affiliated organizations, debt reduction or operating deficits, capital projects, and bridge funding are not eligible. National organizations must apply through a local chapter with a local board of directors and a project or program benefiting Palm Beach County residents.
