About Baccash Family Foundation
The Baccash Family Foundation makes a small number of sizable, targeted gifts that blend faith-driven international relief with local eldercare/health support and occasional use of philanthropic intermediaries. They fund both direct program delivery (faith-based clean water projects, Alzheimer’s support services) and intermediary vehicles that enable flexible donor-directed philanthropy. Grants are few but meaningful, suggesting a focused, hands-on approach rather than broad, diversified giving.

About Baccash Family Foundation
A $125,000 grant to National Philanthropic Trust stands out in Baccash Family Foundation Inc.’s recent giving and points to one of the foundation’s defining habits: using philanthropic intermediaries alongside direct program grants. The foundation’s public grant history shows a small number of targeted awards, often in the $5,000 to $20,000 range, but with occasional larger commitments when the recipient is a major channel for donor-advised giving. That mix sits alongside support for clean water, elder services, health, and humanitarian aid. Living Water International appears repeatedly in the recent grants list for clean water work, while Alzheimer’s Family Senior Center and Honoring Our Precious Elders Hope show the foundation’s interest in senior-focused services. The pattern suggests a hands-on grantmaker that favors returning grantees and well-defined service organizations rather than a wide, open-ended portfolio. Faith-linked organizations also appear in the record, including Marist Brothers and Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon, indicating that religious or mission-based institutions are part of the foundation’s giving profile. Across the recent record, the foundation gives direct operating support, program support, and intermediary support in a limited but consistent set of categories.
What Baccash Family Foundation Funds
Clean water is a recurring theme. The foundation gave $30,000 in 2025 to Living Water International, $10,000 in 2024 to the same organization, and $10,000 in 2023 for work described as helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water. Senior services are another clear focus: Alzheimer’s Family Senior Center received $25,350 in 2024 and $12,000 in 2023 for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research, while Honoring Our Precious Elders Hope received $20,000 in 2025, $10,000 in 2024, and $8,500 in 2023 for general support. The foundation also backs humanitarian or community recovery work through Search Dog Foundation, which received $20,000 in 2024 and $10,000 in 2025 for disaster-response canine partnerships, plus $5,000 in 2023 for the same mission. Health-related support appears as well, including $20,200 in 2024 to Hoag Hospital Foundation for general health benefits.
How Baccash Family Foundation Gives
Typical gifts cluster at modest but meaningful levels, with p25 at $1,000, a median grant of $5,000, and p75 at $10,095. The recent record shows repeat support across multiple years for several recipients, especially Living Water International, Alzheimer’s Family Senior Center, Honoring Our Precious Elders Hope, Search Dog Foundation, and Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon, which points to a returning-grantee pattern rather than one-off awards. Grantmaking is direct and programmatic in many cases, but the foundation also uses a donor-advised fund sponsor, National Philanthropic Trust, for intermediary support. Its active programs are described as accepting only returning grantees, and unsolicited applications are not accepted.
