About Ardelle and Theresa Glaze Foundation
A defining feature of the Ardelle and Theresa Glaze Foundation is its repeated backing of Fort Wayne arts infrastructure, especially Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne, which received multiple $250,000 grants for building renovations across 2023, 2024, and 2025. That pattern sits alongside substantial support for neighborhood organizations that combine direct service with long-term capacity building. The foundation’s recent grants show a preference for place-based projects with visible physical or organizational results, from capital campaigns and facility renovations to workforce training, legal services, and family support. Blue Jacket received $250,000 in 2025 for workforce and management training, while Bridge of Grace received $200,000 in 2025 for charitable, educational, and scientific work. Vincent Village also received a $200,000 capital campaign grant in 2025. Together, these awards show a funder that returns to a small number of local grantees and often supports projects that strengthen buildings, programs, and operations rather than short-term events.
What Ardelle and Theresa Glaze Foundation Funds
In the arts, the foundation’s clearest pattern is facility support: Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne received repeated $250,000 grants for building renovations, showing a sustained interest in cultural infrastructure. In community empowerment, Blue Jacket was funded twice at $250,000, once for charitable, educational, and scientific work in 2024 and again in 2025 for workforce and management training. For family and neighborhood support, Bridge of Grace received $200,000 in 2025, while Vincent Village received $200,000 for a capital campaign. The foundation also backs legal support and direct client services, including a $75,000 grant to Amani Family Services for legal services. Across these areas, the thread is practical support for organizations that serve local residents through programs, facilities, and capacity.
