Mission
MANIFESTWORKS IS A WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION GEARED TOWARD DE-MARGINALIZING OUR PARTICIPANTS AND GIVING THEM TOOLS FOR SUCCESS IN FILM, TELEVISION, AND NEW MEDIA PRODUCTION. THEY START WITH A 12-WEEK JOB TRAINING PROGRAM THAT BUILDS ON A FULLY IMMERSIVE LEARNING MODEL, HANDS-ON DOING, MAKING, CREATING, THAT GIVES THE PARTICIPANTS THE LIFE SKILLS THEY NEED TO DEVELOP A WORK ETHIC, PUTS THEM IN THE MIX WITH INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS AND MENTORS, AND TEACHES NETWORKING SKILLS.THE HANDS-ON, PRACTICAL FOCUS SPARKS ENTHUSIASM AND ENGAGEMENT, AND ALTHOUGH WE'LL TEACH OUR STUDENTS ABOUT EVERY FACET OF THE FILM BUSINESS. AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, HOW TO NETWORK LIKE A PRO. THE LIFE SKILLS WE IMPART WILL SERVE THEM NO MATTER WHAT CAREER PATH THEY CHOOSE TO FOLLOW.
