IMI amplifies the reach and impact of the work produced by our partner journalists,public intellectuals and editorial teams on the leading issues of our times. The goal is to educate, inspire, and collaborate with movements and visionaries who are fighting for social change - and prevent the worst from happening.The organization provides a range of services to its partners: editing and qualitycontrol, visual design and assistance with website and technical development, project design and fundraising development, syndication to partner pubications, andmarketing, promotion, and media bookings through its extensive email and social media channels.IMI History:For more than three decades, the Independent Media Institute has served the pubicthrough the creation and distribution of content about political and social issues.It's produced a range of reports and in 1998, IMI founded AlterNet, an award-winningnews website that published original reporting by independent investigativejournalists,
