Mission
Garden School Foundations primary Seed to Table program of garden-based education served 2,075 students with 571 hours of instruction at seven Title I elementary schools. The program includes both virtual and in-person standards-aligned lessons in gardening, ecology, science, nutrition, and cooking. As part of its post-Covid response, GSF also held eighteen free school-based Farmers Markets, serving 1,958 individuals. The organization also pursued its Cafeteria to Compost program, and hosted volunteers and interns.
