Mission
IN FISCAL YEAR 2025, BIRMINGHAM CORPS CONTINUED TO GROW ITS WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT MODEL BY DELIVERING CAREER WORKSHOPS, ONE-ON-ONE COACHING, AND PATHWAY-BASED JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS. THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTED JOB SEEKERS IN NAVIGATING BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT AND PARTNERED WITH COMMUNITY-BASED EMPLOYERS TO EXPAND ACCESS TO QUALITY JOBS. THESE EFFORTS HELPED RESIDENTS BUILD SKILLS, SECURE MEANINGFUL EMPLOYMENT, AND STRENGTHEN BIRMINGHAM'S WORKFORCE PIPELINE, EVEN DURING A YEAR WITHOUT FEDERAL AMERICORPS FUNDING.
