Written In Red Foundation General Grants
Who can apply: Generally limited to tax-exempt charitable organizations and projects sponsored by governmental entities. Priority is given to projects involving multiple agencies, broad community support, strategic planning, and demonstrated sustainability. Grants generally do not support loans to individuals, non-charitable organizations, international organizations, political or lobbying activities, or ticketed events. New organizations not previously funded by Written in Red must submit applications two weeks before the scheduled quarterly Board meeting.
Deadline: Applications accepted at any time; new organizations must apply two weeks before the scheduled quarterly Board meeting. The next Board meeting is stated as Tuesday, June 23, but the year is not specified.
