Annual Grants Program
Who can apply: Applicant must be a tax-exempt nonprofit organization with an active, functioning board of directors; have a yearly operating budget of at least $120,000; not be receiving or utilizing Women’s Fund funding in 2026; propose a new or expanded program focused on arts and culture, education, health and wellness, or human services; serve Smith County residents; provide services in Smith County without discrimination during 2027; and demonstrate the ability to sustain the project. Funding is not provided for individuals, scholarships, deficits or debt restructuring, capital campaigns, general operating funds for existing programs, strictly religious or sectarian purposes, or political/lobbying activities.
Deadline: Annual cycle. For 2026: application opened June 1 and closed July 6. The next expected application cycle is in 2027.
