Equity Fund
Who can apply: Organizations must have majority BIPOC staff and board leadership (more than 50%), serve majority BIPOC communities (more than 50%), physically provide services in communities with significant BIPOC populations, have an annual operating budget of no more than $500,000 (with preference for organizations under $250,000), have been founded or evolved to serve communities of color, and demonstrate a measurable connection to UWPC’s goal of moving households toward self-sufficiency. Awards are one-year grants, and an organization or group may receive only one award in a 12-month period.
Deadline: Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on September 30 for a January 1 award and March 31 for a July 1 award. The published 2025–2027 investment cycle includes application periods through September 30, 2026.
